I saw Dr. Pausch on Oprah and his lecture was very touching. It was really neat how he created this for his children. Randy Pausch at age 47, died early this morning of terminal pancreatic cancer. He was diagnosed in September of 2006. He is survived by his wife Jai and their three children Dylan, Logan and Chloe. Randy was a professor in computer science at Carnegie Mellon University. The Lecture was an instant hit on youtube and was made into a bestselling book.

The last lecture was about his facing terminal cancer and the things he wanted his children to always know. He said this on his website, “The lecture was for my kids- but if others are finding value in it that is wonderful.”
