Forgiveness

Life is too short! It saddens me that someone would let a misunderstanding via email end a relationship. All we can do is forgive and move on. God is the only one that can heal this.

The Proposal

I loved this movie. It had charm, humor, romance,  and probably one of my favorite movies of the year. I love both Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. It also had Craig T. Nelson, Ann Archer and Betty White. This was an all star cast. I would definitely see this again and I would buy the DVD to add to my movie collection. It is a great date movie as well as a great girls day out movie. The whole theater was laughing from beginning to end. This is a must see movie. I give it two thumbs up!!

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

I was really excited about this movie and I loved the first Transformers movie. This one was vulgar with some scenes and humor. It was also really long. It ended up being a 3 hour movie with previews. It was not kid friendly at all with all the sexual references and half naked women. It did have some language in it. If you edit it differently then it would have been a half decent movie. I give a D. I know it is a big hit at the box office and our audience cheered when it was over but they may have been because it was so long. It has a lot of action but that is about it.  Shia and Megan did a great job acting and I did enjoy them. The first one will be my favorite!

Biggest tax increase in American history (cap and trade bill)

I have been following this story since I heard President Obama on the campaign trail talk about families electric/heating bills increasing to protect the environment. I was so sad to hear this passed by even a narrow margin yesterday. While the world was mourning two celebrities deaths it squeaked by and Americans were sleeping. They say this is going to create jobs but how can it when farmers and manufactors already struggling with this economy are going to have to pay to do business. Of course the cost will also be passed to us. Some are saying that our electric/heating bills could go up as much as  doubling your current bill to as high as $3000 a family. This is absolutely crazy. No one can afford this. Here are the details on this bill. We can only hope that the Senate has the guts to squash this insanity.

Farrah Fawcett loses her battle with cancer

Farrah died at the young age of 62 of cancer that she had been battling for 2 1/2 years. I remember her most for her role in Charlies Angels. I used to watch this show when I was a little girl with my mom.  Here is the article about her accomplishments and life. I pray for her family during this time of loss!

I heard this lady on the radio this morning and she is awesome. She is also called the Ebay mom. She got so angry when her kids snuck some stuff in her shopping cart that she put it all on Ebay with a note and now she has a book out and a website. Here is a link to her site.
