Here is the long awaited recipe:


4 eggs (lightly beaten)

pie crust in your freezer section

3/4 cup of frozen or fresh cut broccoli  and/or sweet red pepper

1 tbs olive oil

1 cup of milk

1/4 tsp of salt

1/8 tsp of pepper

3/4 cup of chopped ham, chicken,  or bacon (turkey)

1 1/2 cups of swiss, cheddar and monterey jack cheese  (you can also use these in light versions)

1 tsp of flour

One: preheat oven to 325

Two: cook in a medium skillet broccoli and red pepper in olive oil until crisp/tender

Three: mix eggs, milk,  cooked broccoli/peppers, salt and pepper and cooked meat of your choice.

Four: in a small bowl mix together flour and cheeses then toss into egg mixture

Finally: pour egg mixture into pie shell and cook for 40 -45 minutes until knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it stand for 10 minutes.
