Informed Decisions

23 Jun

My friend posted this website with all the ingredients to a number of vaccines. I was appalled. Human fetal tissue from aborted babies is in quite a few of these. Here is the link for you to make your own decision. It is not just childhood vaccines but all vaccines.

Happy Anniversary!

23 Jun

Nine years ago today I married my best friend! Stephen and I met in HS and started dating our senior year. We have been together ever since. We were actually able to go away for two  and a half days. It was so nice to get away. Happy Anniversary Stephen! I love you and our life just gets better and better!

Father’s Day is always bitter sweet for me. I still miss him so much even thought it has been almost 17 years. He has missed so much of my life and it literally breaks my heart. I do not believe time heals all wounds. I think it just puts a band aid on it so you can handle it a little better.

My dad was my best friend and the best father I know. He was very hands on with me. He would sing with me, wrote songs about me, would eat oatmeal with me at 3 AM when he got off his third shift at work. He would have candid conversations with me. We used to talk for hours about God and life. I still miss him every single day. I only wish he could have met my wonderful husband and my beautiful daughters. My dad used to tell me at 10, “I am praying for your husband. I pray he is a man of God who will treat you well.” His prayers came true.

Anyway, I miss you daddy and I know I will see you again one day. Happy Father’s Day and thank you for all you did and all you were. I may not have said anything but I appreciate you and love you so much. I could not have asked for a better dad!!

Peanut followed in Sissy’s foot steps this year and entered the big world of ballet. They just had their recital, Jungle Fever. Peanut was a frog and Sissy was a flamingo. They were so beautiful in their costumes. I pray they will always be close. They do have their moments but they truly love each other.

Surgery It is

14 Jun

So I had a SIS histogram today. It was not too bad just some mild cramping but it revealed that I have a polyp instead of hormone issues. Yay! I am going to have it removed in the next few weeks. My doctor said this is the best thing because the alternative is complicated and challenging. There is no cutting involved. I will be put in a twilight sleep and it will be removed very much the way they did the histogram. Prayerfully, this will get rid of the issues I was having. I also have a fibroid but they do not remove those for some reason.

An Army Wives baby

One of my favorite actresses on Army Wives, Catherine Bell, is expecting her second child in August. I was wondering why they wrote this into the show now I know why. Here is the complete story on this new addition to the Army Wives Star.

Diagnosis: Not scoliosis

11 Jun

Praise you Jesus! My 8 year old said, ” nothing is impossible for God and she said she has faith to be healed.” The official diagnosis from our orthopedic doctor is she does have two slight curves in her spine. He said but officially she does not have scoliosis because they have to measure a certain number to be classified as such. He said it could go into it but as of now she does not meet the criteria to be diagnosed with it. We go back in a year to recheck her.
